A New Jersey social media agency is looking to engage a part-time social media specialist to assist with a variety of digital communications tasks. This role would be 100% remote, targeting 25-30 hours per week with potential to extend the job to full time. Hours are flexible to some extent.

Responsibilities
  • Social media skillset and web writing skills to create and oversee social media content
  • Social calendar planning and execution
  • Community management and social monitoring
  • Content publishing to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and other media
  • Creating and posting engaging content across client’s social media accounts and responding to any comments.
  • Creating strategic content calendars every month that covers social, blogging and email
  • Experience producing digital content, including photography and video.
  • Knowledge of social media analytical tools and how to use these to produce insightful reports.
Skills
  • Strong writing, grammar, and communication skills
  • Social media savvy
  • High attention to detail and ability to respond quickly
  • Multi-tasking expertise with understanding of how to prioritize for company results
  • Well organized and efficient
  • Experience using content management systems and ability to learn new ones
  • Experience managing multiple client projects
  • Experience working with photography, video and Photoshop a plus
  • Ability to communicate directly with clients and take responsibility to learn and perform tasks assigned to you
  • Preferred
    • Experience running paid campaign on Facebook Business Manager and Instagram
    • Campaign creation, monitoring, reporting, and optimization (Facebook Ads)
    • Basic skill with graphic design and video editing; experience with Canva a plus
    • Digital marketing experience

Responsibilities
  • Create marketing and social media campaigns and strategies, including budget planning, content creation, and implementation schedules
  • Manage and optimize landing pages, website calls-to-action (CTAs), and lead-generating forms with completed follow through on retaining inquiries.
  • Responsible for PPC, blogging, email, social media, in order to optimize each conversion path.
  • Develop new conversion paths to generate more and better leads
  • Increase conversion rates and drive qualified leads for our sales team
  • Optimize the lead-to-customer conversion rate
  • Use email marketing to build awareness, generate interest, drive demand and promote sales
